Dining out in Benijofar
Tonight we are trying a restaurant in Benijofar called Fratelli´s!Offering Homemade Italian cuisine, which has been recommended by a friend of ours. We will let you know our feedback. Any one else tried this restaurant?
The meal last night was fantastic and the atmosphere was excellent. Every table was taken so would suggest booking a place before you go. We had the 4 course menu de la noche. The four of us had a variety of different choices but I had sardines to start with, for the main I had fusilli pasta with panchetta in a tomato based sauce, dessert was a lovely homemade almond cake and we finished this with a coffee at the end. Plus we had at least 3 drinks each all for a fantastic price of 57 euros. The 4 courses are 12.50 per person. Great and very enjoyable evening. We recommend Fratelli´s to anyone who enjoys good Italian food at a reasonable price.
Hello,
Can you tell me what days they are open and where is the restaurant exactly. Oh and do you have a tel number. Much appreciated!
Hi js,
I believe they are opened on Monday - Saturday from 6.00pm - 11.00pm and their phone number is 966713645.
Let us know what you think! Thanks
Day at the Beach
What another beautiful day in Almoradi today! We are going to the beach today at Guadamar. The beach at Guadamar is so clean and tidy and you always find a nice spot to relax. We tend to bring a picnic and plenty of fresh water. A word of warning you do need to be careful in the sea and watch the flags for warnings as there are some strong currents which can be dangerous

Sunday's Elections - voting advice
Elections "VOTING in both the municipal and autonomous community elections takes place on Sunday 22nd May. Non-Spanish residents who are registered on the municipal census ('Padron') and the electoral role, are entitled to vote ONLY... in the municipal elections, using the WHITE coloured voting slips and the WHITE envelope. PLEASE DO NOT mark the voting paper with a cross or with any other mark as this will result in your vote becoming VOID. When you attend the polling station, you should take with you a current, recognised form of identity which contains a photograph (passport, ID card, Driver's Licence). The POLLING STATION where you place your vote is, most likely, the nearest local school to your home.
I understand from watching the Spanish news late last night that the PP(Partido Popular) had won the majority of the votes in the local elections. Apparently gaining many seats from the PSOE. Lets see how this develops in terms of changes that most people are looking for and how this transpires towards next years General Election.

Don´t forget all you expats who are residents in Spain, you have until 9pm tonight to cast your valuable vote and have your say in your local community!
Kind regards.
